  • Definition:

    The ability to recognize one’s self in the correct perspective.

    Macro Intended Learner Outcome:

    The student should see themselves as a person with influence, value, and dignity. 

    Micro Expanded Learner Outcomes:

    • Examine myths and misconceptions of leadership

    • Distinguish strengths of being a leader and a follower

    • Ability to be an overcomer in challenging situations

  • Definition:

    The ability to direct one’s self in self control, discretion, knowledge and wisdom. 

    Macro Intended Learner Outcome:

    Students should be able to exercise humility, ask for help when needed, and be confident in their strengths.

    Micro Expanded Learner Outcomes:

    • Building discretion and wisdom in decision making

    • Structuring self –efficacy and humility to coexist with independence

    An understanding that there are many different styles of leadership and that context provides direction helping them to recognize which style of leadership will be most effective in the moment to interact with others.

    The act of assessing, identifying, building, edifying, and preserving healthy relationships.

    The student will be able to evaluate relationships they currently have and will potentially have in the future. Students will be able to explain how the quality of relationships one keeps could have a significant impact on an individual’s trajectory.
