J. Hood
SVP Marketing & Advertising
A cool kid with a loving heart and gentle spirit, Baby J is fascinated with learning the world around him. J enjoys books, avocados and dancing. Mom and dad still debate where he gets his rhythm from.
Leaders In Training began as an idea in the spring of 2013. Our Owner + CEO, Chase Hood, birthed the idea during his senior year of college at The University of North Texas. As an “Emerald Eagle Scholar,” Chase majored in Kinesiology with a minor in history and a strong interest in sociology.
While walking into Willis Library preparing for life ahead of graduation (cum-laude), he didn’t know what was next but knew a dream job would be to coach football and teach people about Leadership. His love for others and sports propelled him to acquire many accolades as an educator and coach, but most importantly sparked his desire to truly maximize his impact.
With a natural skill of building relationships, and an unfailing desire to see others thrive, Chase began the journey of Leaders In Training during the summer of 2021. Leaders In Training emphasizes “cultivating student leadership that promotes student success” through visually engaging lessons and activities that reach today’s student preparing them for the journey ahead.
Chase would marry his wife, Ashley Hood (also a UNT graduate). With a strong sense of strategy and planning, she became Chief Operating Officer of Leaders In Training. Their 14 month old son, J., was soon brought on to be the Sr. Vice President of Marketing and Advertising… he has no idea what he’s doing- understandably so, but he’s so adorable!
